MCC celebrates International Women’s Day March 8
MARSHALLTOWN – In honor of International Women’s Day, Marshalltown Community College will be hosting a panel discussion of local female leaders on campus on Wednesday, March 8.
The panel will feature: Maryna Salas, Office Manager for the Marshalltown House of Compassion; Dani Musselman, Hope United Methodist Church Pastor; Sadie Weekley, Lieutenant, Detective Division, Marshalltown Police Department; and Karina Hernandez, Marshalltown School Board member and MCC MEP Coordinator. Additional panelist will be added up until the event.
The event will take place on the MCC campus, 3700 S. Center St. in room 610 – 614. Pizza will be available starting at 11:45 am and the panel will begin around 12:05 pm until 1 pm.
The public is welcome to the event and no registration is required. The panel is sponsored by MCC Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
