Marshalltown, IA – Marshalltown Community College is pleased to announce a generous donation from Hope United Methodist Church, which will significantly benefit students utilizing the Tiger Vault. This week, representatives from Hope United Methodist Church delivered nearly 700 essential items to the MCC campus.
The Tiger Vault, located within the MCC dorms, provides students with access to necessary supplies, like personal hygiene products, laundry soap, toilet paper, cleaning products and more.
In addition to this recent donation, Hope United Methodist Church, along with other local churches, play a vital role in supporting MCC students each fall. These churches compile essential items such as sheets, pillows, and blankets for first-time students from out of state or international students arriving on campus. These items are made available on a first-come, first-served basis, helping students settle into their new living arrangements.
Individuals or organizations interested in supporting the Tiger Vault can make donations through the MCC Foundation at 641-844-5747. When donating, please specify that the contribution is designated for the Tiger Vault. You can also contact Vickie.Unferth@iavalley.edu for questions about the Tiger Vault.
