Esports Program Management

More than just a game

Put simply, esports turns video games from a hobby into an organized sport. Players learn the value of teamwork, communication, self-reflection, personal accountability, and work ethic. Like traditional athletes, esports players develop into more well-rounded people and build both soft skills and technological expertise to help them succeed throughout the rest of their lives.

Esports Program Management

Providing esports athletes and casual video game fans with opportunities to play and achieve their best is exciting, but building an environment where that can happen includes many moving parts. Administration, coaching, tournament organization, content creation, shoutcasting, community outreach, and so much more goes into providing the best experiences for our players and citizens to engage with video games as a positive, community-driven activity. With a degree in Esports Program Management, you will gain the necessary knowledge to take on some of the many roles in the industry and develop a widely adaptable skillset that can serve you in esports and beyond!
