MARSHALLTOWN – Marshalltown Community College LGBTQ+ Alliance will be hosting the next art show featured in MCC’s Ray Frederick. The show will be titled Queer? Queer. Queer! The exhibit will open with a public reception on Wednesday, April 5 from 12 – 2 pm and will be on display until Friday, April 14 at noon.

Sponsored by the MCC Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee, the exhibit is in celebration and honor of Campus Pride Month. The art that will be on display is created by MCC students, staff, and faculty. The goal of Queer? Queer. Queer! is to educate and bring awareness to the public about aspects of the queer community, such as drag culture. The show also celebrates queer identity, art, and artists of MCC.

The Ray Frederick Gallery is open weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm. For more information contact MCC Art Professor Tim Castle at 641-844-5776 or Tim.Castle@iavalley.edu.
