MCC inducts 27 into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society

MARSHALLTOWN – Phi Theta Kappa advisors Pele Waddilove and P.J. Colbert are pleased to announce that 27 students were accepted into Alpha Iota Rho Chapter at Marshalltown Community College this spring semester 2021. Due to precautionary measures taken by the college because of the pandemic, there was no on-campus ceremony this semester. In the meantime, advisors put together a PowerPoint with photos and short information about the members inducted. These will be emailed to all new members.

Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society for two-year colleges. To qualify for membership, MCC students must enroll in a diploma or two-year degree program with a cumulative 3.5 grade point average or higher, and have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours at MCC.
