MCC hosts Last-Dollar Scholarship Open House May 12

MARSHALLTOWN, IA – Are you looking for a one or two-year training program that will take you from the classroom into the workforce? Marshalltown Community College offers a variety of programs for in-demand careers that are also eligible for FREE tuition.
Explore these programs at the Last-Dollar Scholarship Open House on Thursday, May 12, from 1 – 3 pm. Visitors will have the opportunity to tour facilities, speak to instructors, and speak to other students who are enrolled in the career technical programs.
Students enrolled in qualified programs at MCC or Iowa Valley Grinnell can be eligible for the Last-Dollar Scholarship that will pay for a student’s tuition and qualified fees. Programs include:
- Associate Degree Nursing
- Automotive Repair Technology (Grinnell)
- Business Administration
- Computer Networking Management & Technology
- Dental Assisting
- Electro-Mechanical Systems Technologist
- Gunsmith Technology (Grinnell)
- Machine Tool Technology
- Medical Assisting
- Natural Gas Technician
- Powerline Technician
- Practical Nursing
- Welding
The MCC Admissions Team will also be there to answer any questions and provide campus tours.
