COLLEGE CATALOGS
Iowa Valley Community College District (IVCCD) operates Ellsworth Community College and Marshalltown Community College, as well as Iowa Valley Community College Grinnell. All three share a common college catalog, which is now online.

Accreditation
Iowa Valley Community College District (which operates Marshalltown Community College) is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (https://www.hlcommission.org/; ph. 312-263-0456), the Iowa Department of Education, and the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships; some individual degree programs are also accredited by agencies specific to those areas of study. IVCCD is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. IVCCD has articulation agreements with Iowa’s Regent universities and many other colleges in Iowa and the Midwest.
Grievance Procedures
Iowa Valley and MCC desire to resolve student grievances, complaints, and concerns in an expeditious, fair and amicable manner. Students attending MCC who desire to resolve a grievance should follow the College’s grievance procedure, outlined in the Student Handbook. If an issue cannot be resolved internally, you may file a complaint with the Higher Learning Commission (312-263-0456) or the Iowa Department of Education (515-281-0319).
