Mark your calendars for a night of cinematic celebration! The 1st Annual MCC Film Fest will take place on Tuesday, March 4, at the MCC in Helio Portes, with entrance through door #7.
The evening will begin at 7 pm with the world premiere of the MCC Student Production, “The Existence of Being a Woman.” Following the premiere, the festival will showcase a selection of outstanding student film submissions. Doors open at 6:30 pm, offering attendees a chance to experience a red-carpet welcome before the screenings. Black tie optional.
If you are interested in being a part of the event and would like to submit a short film, high school students are asked to submit projects by Friday, Feb. 21. Films should be emailed to Josh.Benda@iavalley.edu or you can contact MCC Broadcasting & Digital Media Faculty, Jo Frohwein, to arrange a drop-off.
The 1st Annual MCC Film Fest is open to the public. However, seating is limited, and attendees are required to RSVP by February 28 to secure their spot by emailing Montana.Morgan@iavalley.edu.
