Admissions

• Apply online through PawPass. The application is free and takes about 10 minutes.
• If you're an international student, the process looks a bit different. Learn more on our international students page.

• Required if you plan to complete a degree or diploma program, or if you are applying for financial aid.
• High School/HSED: Whether you are still enrolled in high school or have already graduated we need your official transcript. Reach out to your high school and have them send this to mccinfo@iavalley.edu. For the transcript to be official it must be sent directly from the high school.
• Transfer students: Request official transcripts from each college you've previously attended. Prior coursework may apply toward your Iowa Valley degree. Send transcripts to the Admissions office at your campus:

• We use placement scores to put you in the right courses — not to determine admission.
• MCC/IVG: Math placement is required. ACT or SAT scores are accepted; check whether your score is on your high school transcript before requesting new scores. If no score is available, contact Admissions.
• ECC: No placement scores are required for admission. If you have ACT or SAT scores, you may submit them to help with course placement.
