“As a native Iowan I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join the faculty at MCC and the Iowa Valley Community College District,” commented Parker. “I am looking forward to immersing myself in the MCC culture and getting to know the students, staff and assisting with the ongoing success of the dental assisting program.”
When asked about her first steps in her new position at MCC she said, “I will hit the ground running, with the intentions of enhancing the program and providing quality education for the dental assisting students and preparing the students for success in the MCC area dental offices.
I will continue to steer the department in a positive direction maintaining what makes the program successful and initiating change to ensure the program grows in the direction to meet the vision and goals of MCC.”
Parker will be starting in January 2020 as Spring classes get under way.
