Orpheum hosts University of Iowa’s Dancers in Company April 15

Dancers in Company flierThe IVCCD Orpheum Theater Center will host a free performance by the University of Iowa’s “Dancers in Company” on Saturday, April 15, from 7 to 9 pm. The performance will be held in the Orpheum’s Black Box Theater.

The UI’s premiere touring dance company, Dancers in Company is now in its 33rd year. The company presents works by nationally and internationally active faculty and guest choreographers created around this year’s theme of “Home.” Using dance to investigate personal, local, and global issues relating to “home,” UI Dance students will perform a thrilling and diverse concert to facilitate community conversations about “home” throughout Iowa.

There is no admission charge for the April 15 event at the Orpheum. The Martha-Ellen Tye Foundation is a 2017 presenting sponsor of this event.

The Orpheum Theater Center is administered by Iowa Valley Community College District.
