Where is Iowa Valley Grinnell? Located on the west edge of Grinnell at 123 6th Ave. W., our campus is about a block south of Grinnell High School and the new aquatic center. IVG is a convenient commuter campus for all of Poweshiek County and the surrounding area.

What is the connection between IVG and Marshalltown Community College (MCC)? Iowa Valley Grinnell is a satellite campus of Marshalltown Community College. As a graduate of IVG you will receive a degree that says Marshalltown Community College. Depending on your degree program (or academic area of emphasis) you can earn all of your credits right in Grinnell; many classes are also offered online.

Who attends IVG? You will find that your classes are filled with a diverse and wonderful variety of students. There is a mix of new high school graduates and adult students returning to complete a degree or working toward college credits for the first time. You’ll even meet some current high school students who are earning dual (high school and college) credits.

What about faculty? One of the very best things about IVG is our faculty … they are awesome! Ask any student and you’ll hear about the caring, helpful and knowledgeable IVG instructors. They have real-life experience in the subjects they teach, and they help you find a passion for your future.
