MCC’s Marketing Degree

MCC’s Marketing degree provides a smart start, helping students acquire the right skills to achieve success. Upon graduation you can enter the workforce immediately. You are encouraged to discuss your specific needs and career interests with the Business Department.

  • A two-year Marketing Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree for those who want to go directly into the workforce after graduation.

Marketing & Advertising Careers & Job Outlook

Employment of Advertising, Promotions and Marketing Managers is projected to grow 10 percent through 2026, faster than the average for all occupations. The median annual wage for Advertising, Promotions and Marketing Managers was $129,380 in 2017.

Competition for marketing job opportunities is expected to remain strong. Persons with related experience, a high level of creativity and strong communication skills should have the best opportunities. Those who have skills in new media and interactive marketing will be highly desirable candidates. Although projected employment will vary by industry, overall marketing jobs are expected to grow much faster than average for all occupations through 2026.
