Since 1968 the Marshalltown Community College Dental Assisting program has held a Dental Clinic on campus that provides an opportunity for the dental assisting students to work with area dentists. The goal of the clinic is to expand the students’ skills and to provide an additional source of quality access to dental care to the community. Most recently, the MCC Dental Clinic has teamed up with Drs. Daniel and Michelle Johnson of Marshalltown Family Dentistry. Their patient-centered dental expertise and mentoring ability ensures the Dental Clinic’s ability to offer an extensive range of dental treatments and oral healthcare services for adults and children.
