MARSHALLTOWN – The Marshalltown Community College (MCC) student veterans group is hosting a Trivia Night that will be open to the public on Saturday, March 28. The event will be held on the Marshalltown Community College campus, in Dejardin Hall, located just inside the Iowa Valley Continuing Education entrance.
The Trivia Night is a fundraiser for MCC’s Collegiate Veterans Association (CVA). Trivia teams should check in by 6:30 pm and Trivia Night will begin promptly at 7 pm. There will be a chili supper starting at 6:30 pm as well.
“We hope to have groups of MCC students, staff and faculty at the Trivia event, as well as community members,” says CVA Advisor P.J. Colbert. “Trivia events are both fun and educational, and it’s a great way for our collegiate veterans to raise funds to support their activities throughout the year.”
There will be silent auction and raffle throughout the evening.
Cost of participation in the Trivia Night fundraising event is $20 per person, open to 20 teams of up to eight people on each team.
