The Iowa Valley Community College District Board of Directors accepted the gift of a salvaged 2008 Ford F250 Super Duty diesel truck from Grinnell Mutual when it met this week in Iowa Falls. The donated truck was totaled, but can be used for instructional purposes by the Automotive Repair Technology program at Iowa Valley Grinnell.

“Grinnell Mutual learned about and responded to our need for a four-wheel drive or diesel vehicle for the Automotive Repair Technology program,” explains Iowa Valley Grinnell Dean MaryAnne Nickle. “We’re grateful for the donation, and our students are looking forward to working on it!”
